This area is made for sports! Whether you like to bike, hike,  ride horseback, canoe or play golf, it is all possible within an hour’s drive. All the equipment is for hire and we can take care of your reservation before your arrival.

Visit Local Markets

One of the charms of Provence is visiting the local markets. You will find a wide range of beautiful handcrafts, table clothes, pottery, fresh vegetables and fruits (you are in the fruit and vegetable basket of France and feasting on the seasonal produce is a delight!) and of course, there is lavender!

Flying over the Luberon

Another great way to see the Luberon and its surroundings is by air. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the region in a small aircraft (4 people including the pilot).

Visit vineyards

Luberon wines have made a lot of progress over the past couple of years. Many vineyards are now producing  exceptional organic wines. We can organize a wine tour for you and your guests where you will be driven around and can simple the different wines of the region. What better way to spend an afternoon than to enjoy a delicious Provençal lunch and visit 3-4 wineries.

Chef à domicile

For the foodies… we can take you to a market followed by a cooking class at your rental home. The chef will leave you to enjoy your Provençal meal after all the prepping has been done and you can enjoy your Provencal meal with your family and/or friends.

Or, if you would like to stay in but do not like to cook, we can organize a chef (or 2 if you are with many) to cook for you and your party. The options are endless.

Visit larger cities

Aix en Provence is a beautiful and historic city, with wide sycamore-lined avenues, the charming old centre with its narrow streets and the many beautiful fountains that give the city its great charm. In addition, the city has many attractions, including markets. museums, shops, restaurants, café’s, theatres, concerts, modern dance.

Marseille is a little further away and is the second largest city in France. It is a melting pot like no other city in France. As it is situated at the Mediterranean coast, you should not  miss out on a boat trip along the numerous deep inlets which offers a magnificent view of looking at the city.

The large basilica on the hill top, Notre Dame de la Garde, overlooks the city and has a rich history protecting the city’s inhabitants. You will also find hundreds of paintings offered by people as a thank you to Notre Dame for bringing them home safely after having survived a shipwreck or storm.

The oldest quarter, Le Pannier, has a rich history, documented by Pagnol in his plays and movies about Provençal life.

Avignon, situated north of the Luberon, is known for being the old capital of the Christian world in the Middle Ages. The city is classified as an Unesco World Heritage Centre and in the summer season the yearly live street festival is a popular destination. History, together with artistic events and its gastronomic traditions, make Avignon an ideal destination when discovering
